TE-FOOD is the only fresh food ecosystem that integrates supply chain companies, consumers and government authorities to improve food safety, eliminate food fraud and reduce costs for supply chain companies. Identification tools apply to livestock, transport and fresh food packaging to trace items throughout the supply chain. Retailing of fresh food can be traced back to the origin of food safety related information.

Project Highlights

The tokens will be used as a medium of exchange between businesses, but will also be rewarded to customers who use the app to scan the food they receive to ensure quality.
At the same time, these tokens can be used on the platform to purchase higher quality information and food quality analysis services. This provides more incentives for consumers, which in turn provides incentives for businesses to use the service.
The quality should be determined based on how many partners TE-FOOD can guarantee the value and the number of consumers/markets. The more apps/tracking services a company uses, the more tokens will need to be purchased in large quantities, increasing demand and thus price.

Application Scenario

TE-FOOD will train businesses, farms, suppliers, butchers and transporters to scan and log livestock through apps and QR codes and from origin (i.e. farms) to processors (i.e. butchers) ) of other fresh food) to the market, and in between.
The goal of this approach is to provide transparency (geographical and long-term) to all parties involved, including markets that are primarily concerned with food travel times.
And consumers, they want to know how their food journey. They can then scan and verify the timeliness and quality of the food reaching the market.
TE-FOOD already has a working solution, both B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) applications, currently used to track and display produce and livestock every step of the way from farm to market.
