Kuende is the first blockchain-based social network that uses gamified challenges to reward real-life social interactions. Combining the online nature and appeal of social media platforms with the outdoors, Kuende imagines Kuende as a platform for real-world challenges. By developing its own blockchain using Tendermint technology as a zone in the Cosmos zNetwork, the platform is built around its tokenized microeconomy that relies heavily on two tokens: Kuende Token (KUE) and Kuende Point (Kp). The ecosystem is designed to help users reward and earn rewards for participating in fun activities and challenges.

Our motivation for creating Kuende came from witnessing the tragic transformation of human interaction. Families no longer sit around the dinner table sharing their stories. Friends no longer need each other's company without constantly checking their phones for notifications, likes, and shares.

We use technology to feel connected, without realizing that digital connection is no substitute for real-life interaction. What's more, the younger generation who need real world social interaction the most are affected more than anyone! We believe this damaging trend will only worsen in the absence of intervention.

Social media is too much of a cultural foundation these days to give up completely. The ability to instantly connect to anyone, anywhere has brought many benefits to the world. People share thoughts, stories, hobbies, goals and dreams via social media! The world simply cannot live without it.

So, Kuende is here to encourage real-world socialization while providing the convenience of social media connections.
