What is Indodax?

Indodax (formerly named Bitcoin Indonesia, changed its name on 14 March 2018), is an exchange based in Indonesia where you can trade your crypto assets, such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, DASH, Ripple, Stellar, XEM, NXT, Bitshares, and many more. It has more than 2 million registered users, trading more than 60 types of crypto assets, and 10 million monthly visitors. It is the largest digital asset exchange in Indonesians.

Indodax has been registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (BAPPEBTI). It is the first crypto asset marketplace company in Indonesia to get two international certifications at once. The two ISOs received by INDODAX simultaneously are 9001: 2015 and 27001: 2013.

Who is the Founder of Indodax?

Oscar Darmawan is the Co-Founder and CEO of INDODAX, formally known as Bitcoin.co.id. He is an entrepreneur who is a pioneer and person who popularized Bitcoin and crypto assets and blockchain in Indonesia. He has founded Bitcoin.co.id, known as Indodax.com with William Sutanto in 2014. Also, he is the founder of the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) and Chairman of the early period ABI.
