Updates on the Creation of Gift Cards & Transferring of Crypto via Gift Cards | Binance Support

Fellow Binancians,

Effective from 2023-07-20 03:00 (UTC), the creation of Gift Cards and transferring of cryptocurrencies via Gift Cards will only be available to entity accounts which have completed entity verification. Users with non-entity accounts may still create Gift Cards and transfer cryptocurrencies via Gift Cards before 2023-07-20 03:00 (UTC). 

All users will still be able to send and redeem Gift Cards after this update. 

Notes: 

• Please note that the “Send” feature differs from the “Transfer” feature, as the former allows users to send their existing Gift Cards to others, while the latter allows users to transfer cryptocurrencies from their Spot or Funding Wallet to others via a newly created Gift Card redemption code.

• Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
