Tracer is a derivatives meta-protocol. It can design and install financial derivatives as a deployable protocol accessible to anyone. These protocols are deployed by the Tracer factory. The factory uses contract templates to generate on-chain derivative agreements, requiring only a small amount of input from the deployer.

TCR (Tracer Token) is a unique token that governs the Tracer DAO; used for community management, voting on proposals that affect Tracer's growth and trajectory. By holding (and staking) TCR, holders have the right to participate in these votes and manage Tracer's peer-to-peer financial ecosystem. DAO members decide when and whether to deploy new code, or if existing code needs to be modified. They also control the use of treasury funds and the employment of service providers.
