Galxe is a Web3 credential data network. Built on an open and collaborative infrastructure, Galxe helps Web3 developers and projects leverage digital credential data and NFTs to build better products and communities.
Galxe enables curators to aggregate credentials across multiple data sources both on-chain and off-chain.
Galxe enables developers to consume credentials through application modules, credential oracles and APIs.
GAL is Galxe's native utility and governance token, which is used for the following functions:
Governance: GAL token holders can vote on Galxe DAO's governance proposals.
Payment Fees: Developers aiming to utilize Galxe credential data will be paid using GAL.
Curation Voucher: Curators are incentivized to stake GAL tokens to demonstrate the value of credential data. Each credential data will include a revenue stream that will be distributed proportionally among the credential stakeholders.
Galxe is made up of the following main components working together:
Credentials Data Infrastructure: Galxe's infrastructure supports curators to provide credentials through multiple data sources, including:
On-chain credentials: through subgraph queries or wallets Snapshots contribute data from 7 different chains
Off-chain credentials: Contribute data through Galxe's integrated data sources such as Twitter, Github or Discord
Application modules: Galxe provides several application modules to help Web3 Projects build better products and more engaging communities.
Galxe OAT (On-Chain Achievement Token): A solution to distribute NFT badges to the community as a record of participation.
Galxe NFT: Enables the community to leverage vouchers and gamified NFT campaigns to better reward and engage users.
Galxe Vote: Enables the community to leverage credentials on Snapshots and credential-based NFTs to build custom governance systems.
Galxe Credential API: Developers can leverage credential data from their off-chain applications to build Web3 LinkedIn, guilds, voting infrastructure, Sybil attack prevention algorithms, and more.
Galxe Credential Oracle: Developers can query credential data from smart contracts to customize on-chain use cases, such as credit scoring, liquidity mining promotion, permission list of INO or IDO, etc.
Galxe ID: Galxe ID utilizes Galxe Credentials and can act as a Web3 LinkedIn. Galxe ID can be a user's universal username, representing their multi-chain identity in Web3.
The project has raised $10.16 million through 2 rounds of equity financing. Equity investors will receive 20.77% of the total tokens. The project also raised $15 million through a public sale on Coinlist, selling 5% of the total GAL token supply at $1.50/GAL.
