PlanetWatch is a French company that uses advanced technology and direct citizen participation to improve global environmental monitoring and help protect public health.
Our current focus is on air quality. We are building a global network of outdoor air quality sensors and people who care about the environment (PlanetWatchers). Some sensors are installed and managed by local residents, and PlanetWatch works with transport and telecommunications companies, local authorities and more to install additional sensors. This approach allows us to quickly deploy a low-cost, high-density air quality monitoring network, filling data gaps in government networks.
Sensor data is recorded on the Algorand blockchain, building a global, decentralized, permanent air quality ledger.

PLANETS is a utility token issued on the Algorand blockchain. All sensors that transmit valid data to PlanetWatch are rewarded with PLANETS tokens.
