IMETA is a platform that enables decentralized hedge funds and lending, operating within the Polkadot ecosystem. The IMETA network consists of different Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) modules that act as decentralized hedge funds/investment funds. Investors can invest/pool funds into these IMETAs which will be managed by the manager of that IMETA and invested for profit, just like a traditional hedge fund.

IMETA will be both a currency and a utility token. It will be the core of the platform. Decentralized hedge funds must lock a certain amount of IMETA tokens to operate on the platform. Borrowers need to deposit IMETA tokens as collateral to obtain loans. Lenders can require borrowers to pay IMETA tokens. Decentralized hedge funds can also choose to pay profits in IMETA tokens.
