Graft is a global, open source, blockchain-based, decentralized payment gateway and processing platform available to anyone. Any buyer and merchant can use Graft in a fully decentralized and cheap manner. The Graft ecosystem is open, so anyone can implement network services through the Graft blockchain.
Graft employs payment processing protocols and processes similar to traditional electronic payment systems such as credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards, which are used in a manner familiar and used by millions of users and merchants around the world. trust. This approach makes it easier and more convenient for Graft to become a mainstream payment platform, while also eliminating the current centralized intermediaries (payment gateways and processors) to facilitate peer-to-peer transactions between buyers and merchants.
Global Real-time Authorizations and Fund Transfers - a decentralized open platform for processing real-time authorized settlements, as well as using untraceable blockchains, decentralized APIs for merchant payment settlements and fund transfers, and building community services Brokers to support various payment methods including crypto, traditional credit cards and bank transfers.
Graftcoin - a proprietary cryptocurrency provided by the Graft blockchain for real-time payments, funds transfers, and settlements between buyers and sellers.
DAPI - Decentralized formless API implemented by supernodes, used to support lightweight client applications such as Graft Wallet, Graft Point of Sale, and third-party sales applications and shopping cards. To facilitate Graft integration, the Graft source code is made available to third-party point-of-sale and wallet application providers.
Graft Wallet - a "Lite" desktop, mobile and browser extension application that calls the Graft DAPI to make payments and fund transfers using graftcoins or other major cryptocurrencies or/credit/debit cards.
Project Features
Availability
A distributed network of supernodes ensures "always" availability of the network. The client application can communicate with multiple super nodes at the same time, and obtain authorization and authentication after consensus. If one of the supernodes is shut down, it will be automatically replaced by other related nodes through elections in the candidate node list.
Volatility
Most merchants expect users to pay in USD (or their local fiat currency). Merchants prefer to use fiat currency instead of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to purchase goods, pay bills and pay employees. Additionally, they may issue a refund in fiat currency when returning an item. They cannot afford wild fluctuations in token prices, especially for small merchants. Graft solves the problem of volatility through an instant, real-time transaction settlement system, thereby minimizing the loss of value due to token fluctuations. The merchant's payment application can automatically adjust the transaction amount to the current exchange rate and convert it to the local fiat currency through the online transaction after the transaction is completed.
Privacy
Graft implements digital identity profile information on the Graft wallet, which can gradually share data with users based on user permissions and digital identity information during transactions. These permissions include selectively sharing certain attributes (such as age, home address, address, name, etc.) with each transaction. CryptoNote, implemented by Graft, will serve as the underlying transaction recording protocol, providing users with a high degree of privacy similar to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by hiding sender and receiver information.
