Project Overview

Hundreds of thousands of people around the world are harmed by counterfeit and substandard medicines every year. The FarmaTrust project aims to make the data records in the pharmaceutical supply chain more transparent, effective, and non-tamperable by providing an effective and comprehensive data verification and coordination layer, and become the data source system of the pharmaceutical supply chain. FarmaTrust has developed the blockchain-based Zoi supply chain information exchange platform to securely verify and track transnational genuine drugs, and provide drug traceability and data services for governments, law enforcement agencies, government organizations, retailers and consumers.

Project prospect

Combining blockchain technology with the pharmaceutical supply chain, FarmaTrust is committed to solving the problem of counterfeit drugs that the public cares about, and has a certain degree of enthusiasm and attraction. However, the current project cannot solve the problem of one-to-one mapping between drugs and data on the chain, and the project needs the support of governments and drug companies in many countries, making it difficult to implement. Therefore, the TG team believes that the prospect of the project is not optimistic.

Technical Architecture

2. Smart contracts and smart processing: Leveraging the capabilities of the Ethereum blockchain network, FarmaTrust works with pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and law enforcement agencies to develop robust and smart data processes that meet tracking compliance requirements.
3. Data Security and Confidentiality: FarmaTrust encrypts all data sets sent over the network. In addition, the zero-knowledge proof mechanism ensures that trade secrets or confidential information can be verified without being exposed.
4. Tracking and Traceability at the Package Level: FarmaTrust's Compliant Product Tracking Token is specifically designed to track genuine pharmaceuticals packaged with a unique serialized product key.

Technical Analysis

FarmaTrust has developed the blockchain-based Zoi supply chain information exchange platform for safe verification and tracking of genuine medicines.
