DIA (Decentralized Information Asset) is an open source financial information platform that uses cryptocurrency economic incentives to acquire and verify data. Market participants can provide, share and use financial and digital asset data.
DIA is governed by a decentralized community of DIA token holders and their representatives. DIA (governance token) can be used to collect data, verify data, vote on decisions and incentivize the establishment of the DIA platform.
DIA tokens have the following use cases:
Governance: DIA tokens can be used for voting and network governance in decentralized communities.
Validation: DIA tokens can be used as token collateral to incentivize validation of existing price oracle data, and to mediate disputes.
Payment method: Historical data Historical data can be obtained for free, while real-time data obtained through a special API needs to be purchased with DIA tokens.
The DIA platform has planned 25 million (12.5% of the total) DIA governance tokens to: encourage users to hold tokens through reward distribution, provide funding support for platform services, and support open source development to stimulate innovation.
