Delta is an on-chain options layer that utilizes a combination of liquidity criteria to reduce premiums and offer competitive option prices. It uses novel systems such as a unique vesting schedule to generate new forms of liquidity.
Delta tokens have a built-in vesting mechanism that is triggered upon transfer. This vesting period is based on a block numbering scheme. When a transfer occurs, 10% of Delta is transferred, while 90% remains locked and unlocked linearly over the next 14 days. The grant program may be disrupted, resulting in immature Delta being allocated to the Deep Farming Vault.
