COWRIE is the cornerstone of South Africa's Digital Economy Recovery Plan, which aims to develop a digital regenerative economy and support the growth of new digital businesses that can be used to unlock revenue and unlock untapped economic opportunities for local people and communities. COBRA has merged with SAtion. SAtion is a body set up by the Business Union of South Africa (BUSA) to transform South Africa into a digital economy.
