Copiosa is a cryptocurrency-backed exchange platform focused on small-cap cryptocurrencies. The platform uses its platform token COP to facilitate transactions for users. COP runs on the BEP20 network - one of the fastest and most secure networks currently available. Copiosa aims to provide value as a standalone cryptocurrency, while also creating a frictionless means of exchange for small-cap cryptocurrencies.
Copiosa launched COP on March 28, 2021, creating 500 million tokens at genesis. The total amount remains unchanged, and there is no destruction or new addition for each transaction. Among them, 400 million coins are currently in circulation, and 20% (100 million coins) are held by Copiosa for business development.
Copiosa was created by developer James Mallon, financial services and business manager Joshua Etheridge and science graduate Harry Richardson. The company's team currently has 4 people, including experienced developers, marketing and financial operations staff.
