Autoglyphs are an experiment in generative art, each unique and created by code running on the Ethereum blockchain. The glyph can be created by anyone willing to donate a £0.20 ($363) creation fee to 350.org, a charity of our choice. The creator of the glyph will also be the first owner of the glyph. However, after 512 glyphs have been created, the generator will shut itself down forever, and these glyphs will only be available on the secondary market.

Now that we have deployed the project to Ethereum, it is important to note that we no longer control the code that generates the art, nor the code that manages token ownership. This is very different from artwork edited and sold by an artist or gallery. It allows for long-term guarantees of ownership, provenance, and version size independent of any central authority.
