The Ambrosus Network is a blockchain-based ecosystem designed for supply chains, tracking and ensuring the origin, quality, compliance and proper handling of items in the network. While Ambrosus is primarily focused on improving the supply chain of essentials, especially food and pharmaceuticals, the protocol can be applied to almost any complex supply chain.
By applying distributed ledgers, data processing and sensor systems, the Ambrosus platform can be integrated in various supply chain flows and ensure the transparency of each node. These new capabilities give consumers or other supply chain participants confidence that their quality control standards are being met. Ambrosus also enables the transfer of additional information between supply chain parties, as well as the creation of new applications and markets that use real-time data from the Ambrosus platform.
Ambrosus is an end-to-end integrated solution comprising hardware, software, a protocol layer and developer tools. The core of the Ambrosus network is the Amber Token, which complies with the Ethereum ERC-20 rules. All transactions within the Ambrosus network are based on this.
"Amber" is the world's first token tied to data. It is used to tie continuously updated and validated logistical, environmental and material data from the supply chain to the corresponding product as it is passed on to the corresponding department. It is also used for value transfer within the ecosystem. That is, the Amber Token is both an application and a value transfer function within the application ecosystem based on the Ambrosus protocol.
Ambrosus is a blockchain-based Internet of Things for food and pharmaceutical companies. It enables secure and seamless communication between sensors, distributed ledgers, and databases to optimize supply chain visibility and quality assurance. At the heart of Ambrosus is AMB-NET: a decentralized protocol. The protocol tracks, stores and transmits assembly line and sensor data related to food, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
Through unique electronic ID tags and anti-tamper mechanisms, Ambrosus' wide range of sensors, biosensors and food trackers can capture and monitor the physical attributes and environmental conditions of each product in real time. Business agreements between manufacturers and their supply chains are encoded in the form of smart contracts on AMB-NET - Ambrosus' blockchain interoperable with Ethereum. The data collected by the sensors is transmitted through the AMB-NET masternodes (Masternodes), enabling the contract to execute itself and automatically resolve issues if there is a dispute between the two parties.
While Ambrosus digitizes the data and forms a product identity tag or certificate of characteristics, all readings are recorded on AMB-NET's distributed ledger, thereby providing immutable, tamper-proof throughout the life cycle of the product record of. Ambrosus drives ecosystem growth through its powerful developer tools and modules. Community members can create dApps, plugins, and make protocol upgrades. Interoperability with other Ethereum-based protocols ensures seamless integration and operation of Ambrosus dApps.
Supply chain optimization, secure, stable and real-time sensor-to-blockchain data exchange helps companies use highly complete analytical data to achieve top-notch supply chain efficiency from assembly lines to dealers.
Logistics tracking, providing enterprises and distributor partners with transparent and accurate tracking of delivered goods throughout the supply chain cycle. Quality assurance, time, temperature, logistics and raw material marks strengthened by code compilation bring additional quality assurance to dealers and end consumers.
Anti-counterfeiting, encrypted and tamper-resistant mechanism affixes a unique and immutable digital label to consumer products to reduce the risk of counterfeiting.
