Over the next few years, Energi seeks to retain thousands of full-time contributors and function as a strong global organization unlike anything else in the cryptocurrency space. Energi will continue to expand marketing efforts, development and ease of use to rapidly increase demand and adoption.
Tentative release schedule for Energi Mobile Wallet - designed to be as easy to use as Venmo and Cash App, able to sync with phone contacts and make Energi payments easy for users and merchants. There will also be an extension to enable one-click conversion between Energi and Energi Gold (stablecoins built in Energi, like Maker's DAI, pegged to the price of gold).
Once the Energi mobile wallet is complete, we will begin a major campaign targeting the promotion of Energi in the countries where it is most needed.

Energi will begin incorporating the most influential blockchain projects and dApps into the Energi platform. Energi will also begin providing grants and support through our incubator program to support what we have identified as the most powerful upcoming dApps in the space.
Energi 3.0 has been released — Energi has been rebuilt as an Ethereum-adapted smart contract platform, compatible with applications written for Ethereum.
This major update implements nearly all of Ethereum's features while integrating our treasury, masternodes, and governance systems into one. Energi will start adopting existing Ethereum infrastructure such as MyEtherWallet. This upgrade also enables dApps to migrate to the Energi ecosystem so they will benefit from Energi Defense (cybersecurity), our incubator and other extended services.
After the review process is complete, the NRGs for rounds 2, 3 and 4 will be released simultaneously.

Energi Core started its business with Energi X, a zero-fee futures exchange with rival Bitmex, whose main trading pair is NRG. Energi X is a major effort and will be one of Energi's main focuses for years to come. It alone could drive major demand for NRG and greatly enhance Energi's capabilities in the cryptocurrency exchange space and as a cryptocurrency platform as a whole. There's no firm expected release date yet, but it's tentatively set for the first quarter of 2021.
